Wichitalks is an event that brings together passionate individuals, high-performers, creative minds, and an audience of active listeners for an evening of diverse presentations and collisions. We look to surface unique perspectives, passion projects, and compelling stories that can add value to our community.
At every event, ten handpicked individuals share a 5-minute presentation on a powerful idea of their choosing. With only 20 slides, each auto-advancing every 15 seconds, presentations are brief, fun, insightful, and passionately delivered.
We hope you’ll join us.
Join us at Roxy's Downtown for an evening of random lightning talks, food, drinks, and celebrate the ideas of our neighbors!
Grab your tickets soon because space is limited!
Everyone helping to organize Wichitalks volunteers their time. All proceeds help cover the venue costs, video editing, photography, marketing, and miscellaneous event costs that contribute to a successful evening experience.
Each speaker must have 20 slides.
Each slide auto-advances after 15 seconds to keep the talk moving.
Speakers are here to teach and share ideas with no strings attached.

We’re looking to surface unique perspectives, passion projects, and compelling stories that can add value to our community but currently live under the radar in your mind, your favorite coffee shop, or your favorite conversation.
What you do within the guidelines is wide open to creative interpretation.
If you’re not sure your presentation idea is the kind that will be accepted, we encourage you to apply anyway. We’ll give you feedback to help you fine tune your application. The deadline to apply is Febuary 20th!
